Autonomous BOAT-- DRIVERLESS The first unmanned and autonomous sailboat has successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean, completing the journey between Newfoundland, Canada, and Ireland. The 1,800-mile journey took two and a half months. It was part of the Microtransat Challenge for robotic boats and bolsters the possibility of unmanned boats being used for long-haul missions. This could include everything from ocean research to surveillance.

RTI- Right to Information Act Right to Information Act 2005 mandates timely response to citizen requests for government information. It is an initiative taken by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions to provide a– RTI Portal Gateway to the citizens for quick search of information on the details of first Appellate Authorities,PIOs etc. amongst others, besides access to RTI related information / disclosures published on the web by various Public Authorities under the government of India as well as the State Governments.
